This book takes a reader by the hand and leads him/her step-by-step from the most basic facts toward a more advanced understanding—in an overview of the whole supernatural realm as the Bible reveals it. It deals with the subject in its vast sweep and goes into God, Christ as the incarnate Son, angels, the Holy Spirit, as well as Satan, powers of darkness, the occult, evil spirits and the antichrist. It is a who’s who and a what’s what of the unseen world. We have never seen anything like it in one volume. Especially good for young or new Christians.

About What Every Christian Should Know About the Supernatural:

WEC40

No one who thinks there is no devil, or evil spirits, at work in the world, no heaven or hell, lives in reality—even when realism lies at the heart of his intention. That person lives in partial reality, limited to what he sees and understands naturally—so he is not able to handle the total situation in which he actually dwells.

For believers, the foremost essential is to know, to love, and obey your Commander. The second is to know your enemy—who he is, what he intends, and how he and his agents, evil spirits, operate. As a believer, you won’t be Left Behind—but you do have to deal with the devil until you’re taken. Here’s how—by a man who knows.

The author, McCandlish Phillips, became famous as a star reporter and writer at The New York Times. He kept a Bible on top of his desk in that high pressured newsroom as a statement of what he believes, and Who he belongs to. 225 pages, softcover. Download sample pages.

About War on the Saints, The Full Text, Unabridged Edition:

The classic book on spiritual warfare—the unabridged original with appendices, not one word changed, not one word cut. 325 pages, hardcover with jacket.

A brilliant, highly accurate description of specific ways by which the powers of darkness work to confuse, deceive, oppose, afflict, mislead or bind believers—and how to detect, oppose and overcome them. An advanced text, not for quick or easy reading. Requires study—yields keen, sure understanding. Thomas E. Lowe, Ltd. restored this full original text to the public in 1973 after many years in which the editors of the condensed edition had opposed and blocked its publication.

Today, Mrs. Penn-Lewis’s books are still widely read by Christians and deservedly so, but there is a significant exception: her most important book, War on the Saints, written in collaboration with the famous Welsh revivalist, Evan Roberts, had been only available in a highly abridged version. There are many books which can be abridged without losing content, but in the case of War on the Saints the word “abridged” is certainly the wrong one simply because the main thrust of her vital book was eliminated in the abridged and emasculated version. The editors based their decision to discontinue the original version “first and foremost” on their rejection of the important teaching regarding demon influence on Christians. Download sample pages.

Faith by Hearing, The Story of Gospel Recordings

The story of Gospel Recordings Incorporated is an ever changing one. The 3,000 dialects “captured” on records has grown to over 3,600, and this world-wide mission continues to send out, in increasing numbers, records with the clear gospel message to those who may never be reached by any other effort. Illiteracy remains one of the great obstacles of missionary endeavor, and the “talking tracts” in the tribal dialect have given many a missionary extra voices to penetrate this formidable barrier.

Baptisms Plunged into Baptisms
By P. K. Chamberlain

Baptisms are a vital element of New Testament teaching, as Hebrews 6:1-2 tells us: “…Let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. ” We look into what the Bible says about baptisms and find some surprises. For one thing, the New Testament speaks of at least seven different baptisms. Five of the seven may apply to you and me, today. Even the other two are included for our spiritual education, so we have a lot to explore.

But not only is the Body fought on all sides; true teaching and light upon this vision are equally opposed by the enemy.

Thomas Haire, The Praying Plumber of Lisburn
By A. W. Tozer

This sketch brings together two men who in most ways are very different, but who in their affinity for things spiritual are very much alike. To Tozer, the two characteristics that marked Haire as unusual was his utter devotion to prayer and his amazing spiritual penetration. A Bible college president described praying with Haire as listening to a man converse with God who knew from the Spirit’s tutoring the concerns of the Father’s heart and the vocabulary of the heavenlies.
